1. Identify the items that need to be insured.

2. List them with their values. Ensure that the value is the full value.

3. SI for liability is on reimbursement basis and is limited to the amount chosen.

4. Ensure that there is no misstatement, or misrepresentation since the proposal is the basis of the contract.

5. The liability of the Company does not commence until the proposal has been accepted and full premium paid.

CLAIMS

1. Give immediate notice of claim.

2. Obtain the claim form from the Company (also available on our website) and provide full details of the loss; as sought in the form.

3. Do not dispose off / destroy damaged property, if any, till company permits such disposal.

4. Take necessary steps to minimize loss and keep the Insurance Company apprised.

5. Please ensure that no bribe is given to anyone on account of settlement of claim. Please report any such demand immediately to the Company.

1. Take a good look at the Proposal form and identify your requirement for insurance.

2. Prepare a list of items desired to be insured, with proper valuation.

3. Remember that liability cover is on reimbursement basis and limited to the sum insured selected.

4. Ensure that there is no misstatement, or misrepresentation; since the proposal is the basis of the contract.

• PERSONAL ACCIDENT (P.A.)

1. Please go through the Proposal Form completely and carefully and ensure there is no misstatement, or misrepresentation; since the proposal is the basis of the contract.

2. Choose the Capital Sum Insured (CSI) carefully. It is restricted to 120 times your monthly income.

3. Medical expenses as per terms & condition of the policy, arising out of accident, may be covered under the policy.

4. Family members may be covered under single policy as stated on the proposal form.

5. Please ensure that Nomination facility is availed.

CLAIMS

1. Give immediate notice of claim.

2. Claim form must be obtained from the Insurance Company (also available on our website) and duly certified by the treating doctor before submission to the Company Office.

3. In case of prolonged treatment arising out of accident, covered under the policy, the company must be kept informed.

4. CSI is the limit of liability of the Company in case of a claim.
